Stray Animal Care & Rescue

Sri Lanka’s street animals face severe neglect. We fund emergency veterinary treatments, spay/neuter programs, and daily feeding drives to protect and care for vulnerable animals in need.

Compassion knows no boundaries. Across Sri Lanka, hundreds of thousands of stray dogs and cats roam the streets, enduring severe injuries, malnutrition, untreated diseases, and harsh weather conditions. Through our dedicated Stray Animal Care & Rescue program, we provide a voice and direct veterinary care to these vulnerable creatures.

A Comprehensive Animal Protection Strategy
Our work goes far beyond emergency rescue—we focus on creating long-term, sustainable solutions for animal welfare across local communities:

Emergency Medical Intervention: We fund immediate surgeries, wound care, and rehabilitation for stray animals suffering from traffic accidents, severe infections, or abuse.

Spay, Neuter & Vaccinate (SNV) Drives: To address stray overpopulation humanely, we sponsor regular sterilization and rabies vaccination campaigns, protecting both animal and public health.

Daily Feeding Initiatives: We support local grassroots caregivers with bulk pet food supplies to run consistent feeding stations for street animal packs.

Shelter Support & Foster Networks: We collaborate with local shelters and volunteers to build safe temporary housing, supply medications, and advocate for adoption over purchasing.

Fostering a Culture of Kindness
By educating local communities—especially school children—on animal empathy and rabies safety, we are helping build a future where humans and animals coexist safely and compassionately.
